Singapore was an ideal city for a few days stop over to
New Zealand. We we're staying very close to China Town,
so quite central. During our stay we went to the Gardens by
the bay an amazing 101-hectare horticultural attraction. A visit
to Raffles was a little disappointing as it has become very
commercial, but the building itself is still beautiful.
Yong Siak Street, had some quirky shops including a great
book shop called Books Actually where I got my stationery fix.
In brief, the food was delicious, easy to get around, people very
kind and the weather humid.
