Good to of gone away. Yesterday we visited the Saatchi gallery in Chelsea. Richard Wilson's site specific oil installation above is amazing. When you look at it, your senses get so mixed up.
This is really neat. I visited Richard Wilson's 20:50 oil installation in the MOCA in Los Angeles in November of '94!
To this day, I still consider it one of the most amazing exhibits I've ever experienced. I can remember the stillness, the smell, the feeling of being completely surrounded by this endless room.
I'll definitely have to visit the Saatchi Gallery on my next trip to the UK. Thanks for bringing back memories. I had no idea Wilson had this permanent installaion at Saatchi. I love adding to my must-do list!
